Conduct of Written Test under CRE-2023(II) for the posts of Livestock Inspector, Forester, and Forest Guard.

OSSSC Forest Guard Written Test Notification 2024
1. Test Dates and Multiple Shifts: They’ll be holding the exam on different days with multiple sessions throughout each day. Just a heads up, they’ll be using different sets of questions for each session, so be prepared!
2. Scoring System: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has a fancy new way of calculating scores, and they’ll be using that for this exam. They’ll compare your score to everyone else’s who took the test.
3. Ties in Scores: If two people get the same score, the one with fewer wrong answers wins! If there’s STILL a tie, then the older applicant (based on birthday) gets the higher rank.
4. Test Center Locations: Listen up, because this might affect some of you. Due to limitations in some areas, about 30% of applicants might be assigned test centers in nearby bigger cities like Sambalpur, Berhampur, Cuttack, or Bhubaneswar. Keep an eye out for your assigned location!
5. Languages: Good news! Most of the questions will be displayed in both English and Odia (except for the English and Odia language sections, obviously). If something seems confusing in Odia, the English question will be the official one.
6. Special Accommodations: Candidates with disabilities meeting specific criteria will be placed in the first session of each exam day and will be given extra time to complete the test.
7. Stay Updated: Everything else mentioned in the official notice still applies. Make sure to visit the Commission’s website regularly for any last-minute changes or updates. They might have some surprises up their sleeves!
